Sol Y Canto

Melodic Vision joins Boston Music Award-winning Latin music ambassadors Sol y Canto in a first-ever collaboration to illuminate one of Mexico’s favorite holidays, Day of the Dead. Celebrated in early November, it is traditionally a heartfelt homage to ancestors and a lighthearted excuse for family gatherings, creative crafts, food, floral arrangements, dance, pageantry, and poking fun at the grim reaper!

The extravagant Noche de Muertos is brought to life in this haunting multimedia production combining dynamic live music with stunning giant projected photographic images of Michoacán’s profound and yet irreverent Día de los Muertos celebrations, in which deceased loved ones are reminded that they’re still part of the family.
