Finance Minor
The minor in finance offers students an opportunity to select from among most of the courses offered in the finance major. Students can either sample broadly from these courses or construct a concentrated theme with the assistance of the minor coordinator. These themes can be in corporate finance, investments, financial markets or financial institutions or personal financial planning. Please note that there are significant prerequisites for all Finance courses.
All finance minors must take the following core course:
| FI 305 | Principles of Accounting and Finance |
In addition, finance minors must take:
One of the following:
| FI 320 | Financial Markets |
| FI 351 | International Finance |
| FI 380 | Advanced Managerial Finance |
And two additional courses from the following, for which students meet
the prerequisites:
| Any FI 300 or 400 | EXCLUDING FI 401 and FI 421 |
