  1. Bentley Sandbox is modeled after the existing Computer Information Systems (CIS) Sandbox. This dedicated space will include areas for tutoring and student interaction.
  2. Immersive Technology Lab will be a hands-on learning space that enables the use of virtual reality (VR) in teaching and learning. Research has shown that VR increases student engagement and improves learning.
  3. Falcon Forum will be an expansive central gathering space open to the second and third floors to showcase student projects and engage with external partners. Copious natural light will create a bright and welcoming environment that invites cooperation and inspires new ideas.
  4. Innovation Pavilion with its bold architecture and dramatic entrance will showcase the vibrant activity inside the building. A new café will serve as a welcoming spot to recharge and reconnect, and indoor / outdoor seating will extend the activity and dynamism into the quad.
  5. Build Lab will feature 3D printing and flexible, collaborative workspaces that foster a culture of experimentation and iteration where ideas are developed from concept to prototype to real-world application.
  6. Futures Lab will be a hub for AI and business education that incorporates data visualization and collaboration with industry leaders providing real-world feedback.
  7. Hub for Centers, Innovation and Entrepreneurship will contain key academic centers in flexible and collaborative workspaces and meeting rooms that encourage hackathons, business showcases, startup incubation, mentoring of student entrepreneurs and engagement with corporate partners.
