Business Leaders Address Time Management, Demands, and Balance at Center for Women and Business Best Practices Forum

The Center for Women and Business at Bentley University today convenes its latest Best Practices Forum: “Time Out! Rethinking ‘Time’ and the Ways We Work.” Bringing together a group of prominent and diverse influencers, experts and practitioners, the one-day conference features CEOs, C-Suite leaders, consultants and academics who will explore issues related to overwork, provide examples of how various companies and professional services firms are addressing them, and allow participants to raise questions and to share with one another their own ideas and concerns.

Bentley University Announces Speakers for 2014 Commencement Ceremonies

Bentley University commencement ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 17. Joe Moglia, chairman of the board of TD Ameritrade and Coastal Carolina University head football coach, will deliver the commencement address at the 95th annual undergraduate ceremony. Linda Zecher, president, CEO and director of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), will deliver the keynote address at the Graduate School of Business 39th annual ceremony.

Faculty Member Jeff Stern’s Short Film on Fatherhood Accepted to Independent Film Festival Boston

A film about fatherhood written, directed and co-produced and edited by Bentley’s Jeff Stern, was accepted to the Independent Film Festival Boston. Starring Stern and his son Leo, The Morning of Everything is a lyrical short film in which a father envisions the world through the eyes of his three year-old son — an extremely personal expression of Stern’s experiences as a father over the past four years.

Santander and Bentley University Launch New Chapter to Support International Education

Bentley University announces that Santander Bank, N.A. has launched a new three-year agreement with Bentley that will continue the Santander Universities Study Abroad Scholarship Fund. Bentley University students are finding ways to boost retail sales for Kidz b Kidz, a nonprofit that brings children together to create art to benefit sick children. Things got creative as students designed artwork that was featured on cookies sold by KBK partner Wicked Good Cookies at Bentley’s Black United Fashion Show in early March.
