Flip
Flip (flip.com) is a free video discussion platform that helps instructors see and hear from every student in class and foster a fun and supportive social learning environment. In Flip, instructors post discussion prompts (‘Topics’) and students respond with short videos. A Grid (‘Group’) is an instructor’s community of learners (i.e. your class). In each Group, instructors post Topics (i.e. discussion questions), which then can be embedded into Brightspace for students to record and upload their video responses (a few seconds to 10 minutes).
