Perusall (perusall.com) is a social engagement platform that integrates into Bentley’s LMS Brightspace. Students participate in a social learning environment, learning from each other’s responses on various topics inside their instructor’s Perusall environment. Faculty can upload Word documents, PDF files, PowerPoint and more for students to collaborate and comment on with their classmates.
Use Cases
Perusall can be used for a group or team project to collaborate on or review course material.
Prompts can be added within assignments for students to encourage discussion on specific parts or ideas in the material.
Comments or questions can be upvoted to show understanding or confusion on ideas in the material.
Perusall License
An institutional license for Perusall has been acquired by Benley for faculty:
- Faculty can add Perusall to any course available to them in Brightspace.
- There is no charge for students.
