CHB Case Competition - Fall 2024
Topic: Health and Well-being of the Bentley Community
Problem Statement: Across the Bentley community, individuals from diverse groups—whether students, faculty and/or staff—face a variety of health challenges that impact both physical and mental well-being, including stress, anxiety and physical health concerns. As members of this community, we need a straightforward, reliable and accessible platform to support our wellness journey, tailored to the unique needs of each group.
Solution: The proposed solution aims to enhance health and well-being in the Bentley community by addressing physical, psychological, social, or emotional needs. It will leverage the Health Universe Platform to connect users with tailored resources, support systems and educational content based on their specific challenges and goals. By streamlining access to credible support, the solution seeks to foster resilience and a healthier community.
Format: Student teams were presented with a Case Solution Framework and had 1 week to come up with their innovative solutions and apps on Health Universe. During this intensive period, they received valuable guidance from faculty and entrepreneurial mentors, who provided feedback on their business plans, content strategy, product feasibility, and overall pitch. This support ensured the teams had the tools and insights needed to refine their ideas and present compelling solutions.
Awards and Opportunities: In addition to winning cash prizes, the top three winning teams will have the opportunity to present their cases at the Spring 2025 AI Summit in front of 250 health industry executives! The top five teams will also receive valuable mentorship opportunities.
