Advanced Drupal Users Training
March 6, 2025
The training session is structured into key sections, each covering essential aspects of Drupal and its components.
- New and Updated Features:
The session begins with an overview of recent updates, including the ability to add more than four cards to the card grid and a new request process for file deletion on Bentley.edu. - Accessibility Checker Module:
A significant update is the introduction of the Accessibility Checker Module. This tool helps site editors identify potential accessibility issues, such as missing alt tags on images and iframes or empty headings. These alerts are visible only to site editors and do not appear on live pages. The session also provides AI-based solutions for addressing accessibility issues, including prompt examples. - LLM/GPT Models and Prompt Engineering:
This section explores how to effectively use large language models (LLMs) and GPT-based tools. Topics covered include in-context learning, prompt engineering, and best practices such as:- Setting clear goals and objectives
- Providing context information
- Using few-shot prompting
- Being specific
- Leveraging chain-of-thought prompting
A practical demonstration shows how to convert program content into a well-structured, SEO-friendly webpage with clear sections for improved readability.
- Localist Support Portal:
The presentation introduces the Localist Support Portal, a resource hub for the Localist platform. It includes training videos, upcoming sessions, and a resource library. Additionally, the Localist Event component enables departments to feature their event feeds on the website in various formats. - Additional Resources:
The training concludes with a collection of useful resources for further learning and implementation.
