Dear Bentley community,
I am excited to share today that Bentley will move forward with an ambitious, groundbreaking project to reimagine the Adamian Academic Center. Once completed, this new state-of-the-art hub for hands-on teaching and learning will emphasize technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Over the last year, the university has coalesced around key academic initiatives that must exist at Bentley in 2030 and beyond for our institution and students to remain a step ahead. These priorities recognize that developing analytical, complex problem-solving and human-centered competencies requires immersive and action-based learning in an environment that exudes creativity and entrepreneurial dynamism.
In the century since our founding, Bentley has been dedicated to preparing students to meet the needs of a vibrant economy using innovative pedagogy and a student-centered philosophy. The successful business leaders of the future will understand how to use cutting-edge tools like artificial intelligence, augmented reality, machine learning and virtual reality to manipulate complex data with ease for competitive advantage.
These leaders will improve operations, systems and the bottom line with ethical and entrepreneurial approaches and mindsets. Taken together, Bentley’s technologically enabled, experiential and innovative academic programs and offerings will keep us at the forefront of business education for years to come. Bentley will become the business university for the Innovation Age.
The reimagined Adamian will stand as a cornerstone of this future state. This completely renovated and modernized academic center will offer a space where every member of this community can innovate and do their very best work. Enhanced workspaces for faculty and gathering spaces for students will be designed to foster creativity and collaboration across areas of study. Additionally, the new Adamian Academic Center will be anchored by signature spaces that allow for exploration at the intersection of business, technology and innovation. Many key academic centers will be integrated into a central hub of collaboration and innovation that will benefit all students and faculty.
Construction will begin later this year and be completed in time for the beginning of the fall 2027 semester.
The new Adamian Center will not only enhance the educational experience for current and future students but also foster a sense of community among students, faculty and corporate partners. This is an exciting new chapter in the history of Bentley University, and I wanted to keep you informed as a valued member of our Falcon community.
I’m thrilled to move forward on this exciting new chapter in the history of Bentley University.
Most sincerely,
President Chrite
