Bentley and its media partner, Bloomberg Radio, broadcast its latest segment in an ongoing series during Bloomberg’s “Taking Stock” program on Friday, March 20. Hosted by Bentley President Gloria Larson and Bloomberg’s Carol Massar, the segment discussed Gallup’s new index by which to measure the outcomes and success of higher education by evaluating levels of hope, engagement, and well-being  among current students and alumni. Gallup found that by identifying questions that would address these topics, they were most accurately able to assess whether former students were leading fulfilling lives and participating in rewarding careers.

Guests addressed how adopting the principles of the new Gallup index can lead colleges and universities, including Bentley, to better understand how to address preparedness gaps and continue to enhance key elements of the college experience such as teaching students how to identify their strengths and encouraging them to get involved outside the classroom.

Executive Director of Gallup Education, Brandon Busteed, joined the hosts as well as Bentley’s Executive Director of Career Services, Susan Brennan and President of Robert Morris University, Gregory Dell’Omo.
