The 13th annual Bentley Business Bowl drew 270 students to participate in the business case competition on February 27. Bentley alumni were among the representatives from 76 companies and agencies who joined Bentley faculty and administrators to judge student presentations that analyzed and solved business cases centered on ethics issues.

Corporate sponsors for the Bentley Business Bowl included Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Liberty Mutual (Patrons); Staples, SunLife Financial, and Travelers Insurance (Sponsors); and Boston Scientific, Caturano & Company, Deloitte, Electric Insurance, EMC, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (Donors). The event is sponsored by the Bentley Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), the President's Office, the Departments of Accountancy and Management, the McCallum Graduate Center, and the Centers for Career Services and Corporate Relations.

Grouped by class year, teams of four to five students competed against opposing teams of the same level, presenting solutions to the panel of judges. Judging criteria included team dynamics, presentation skills, and response to questions from the judges. Winners of the case competition in each class were awarded cash prizes, up to $350 per person for seniors and graduate students.
