Highlighting Sustainability Progress

Bentley’s fiscal year 2024 Sustainability Progress Report highlights significant advances. In fact, our community is on track to achieve 70% of the goals in the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan by the end of the 2025 fiscal year.

Key achievements include securing a historic wind contract to power 100% of our campus operations through 2027, marking a significant step toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. We also earned a STARS Gold rating from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) for the first time in six years, and increased access to transit by introducing the Waltham Falcon Flyer, a third shuttle route to enhance sustainable commuting options for the Bentley community.

This progress is made possible through the combined efforts of active student organizations and dedicated faculty and staff, including the experts in the Office of Sustainability.
