Vigil for Black Lives

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion in co-sponsorship with Student Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Spiritual Life hosted an online Vigil for Black Lives to allow the community to reflect together. More than 430 people joined to hear speeches from students, faculty and staff sharing thoughts about racial injustice in our society and their own experiences with racism.

A Message from Academic Leadership

Hundreds of staff and faculty joined the university's academic leaders in a pledge to stand up and speak out against racism.

SP&E Social Justice Action PlanSP&E

The Office of Student Programs & Engagement offers programs and resources that promote student and community development and enrich the campus experience throughout the year. "We will outline our commitments, advertise educational programs, share resources and document what we have done – not just what we have said," said SP&E. "Our statements must, and will, become our actions."
