Bentley Campus Activities Board Holds Its First Black History Month Concert on Campus
The student-led Campus Activities Board (CAB) held its first Black History Month concert, themed “For the Culture,” with a performance by rapper, singer and producer Wolfacejoeyy on Feb. 20.
“This is a huge moment for our community,” says Jaychele Nicole Schenck ’26, production co-chair of CAB. “The concert is another significant step for Bentley in celebrating Black culture and amplifying diverse voices.”
In addition to an energetic musical performance in the Executive Dining Room in LaCava, Wolfacejoeyy took the stage for a Q&A session with Schenck.
“The conversation delved into his creative process and the ways that his experiences as a Black artist have shaped his music,” Schenck says. “It was also interesting to hear from him about the role of music in shaping cultural identity and what “the culture” means to him in the context of this event.”
