The Modern Languages Department honored outstanding language students at the Annual Modern Languages Honor Society Induction Ceremony on April 12.
Among students inducted into the international foreign language honor society Phi Sigma Iota were seniors Jimin Jung; Danielle Olmstead; Priscila Ramirez; and juniors Matthew Bride; Yehmin Chern; Katelyn Horowitz; Maximilian Klietmann; Jaclyn Mahoney; and Brianna Schneider. Students inducted into national collegiate Hispanic honor society Sigma Delta Pi include seniors Julia McDonald; Kimberly Royer; and Anne Warner; and juniors Amanda Chateauvert; Meredith Davis; Alexa Hassaram; and Jeffrey Kimball.
To qualify, students must have a 3.0 GPA in all language courses, and be in the top 35 percent of their class.
