A business co-founded by sophomore Danny Wong is garnering national media attention. Blank Label, an online custom-design dress shirt company, has been featured by outlets such as Boston.com, Forbes, FastCompany and Bloomberg/BusinessWeek. Wong, who is majoring in Information Design and Corporate Communication, serves as the company's marketing guru. He launched the business in October 2009 with co-founder and CEO Fan Bi.

Wong credits Bentley faculty and staff for support and advisement of the venture, including William Buchholz, professor and chair of information design and corporate communication; John Sims, leadership gifts officer; and associate professors of information design and corporate communication Simon Moore and Terrance Skelton.

The young entrepreneur believes that dexterity is a key element in his success so far. "Entrepreneurs must be willing to face a ton of dips in the business, and must be willing to change. Not enough entrepreneurs allow their businesses to be driven by their users. They spend too much time theorizing about the perfect product or service, when what they envision doesn't always align with what consumers want."
