Honors, Awards and Recognition: Spring 2019
Bentley recognizes its faculty, staff and students for their awards, honors and other achievements.
Axel Seemann, associate professor of Philosophy, has been invited to write a series of posts for the Brains Blog, a website about philosophy and science of mind. The series will be based on Seemann's new book, The Shared World.
Anthony Buono, professor of Management and Sociology, is a member of the organizing committee for the upcoming Academy of Management Specialized Conference, which will take place in Slovenia in October. Bentley is one of the institutional contributors of the conference, which will focus on Responsible Leadership in Rising Economies.
A Bentley team progressed to the final round of the local competition of the CFA Institute Research Challenge, along with teams from Babson, Northeastern and Tufts. The Challenge is a global competition that takes place in 87 countries and involves 1,100 universities and 5,500 students. The competition tests the equity research and valuation, investment report writing, and presentation skills of participants. The Bentley team members are Ryan Ricci ‘19 (captain), Gita Ghantasala ‘19, Christopher Fallaque ’19 and John Lenz ‘19.
