Bentley University will host the 21st Annual IRS Town Meeting on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 featuring a keynote address by IRS Deputy Commissioner of the Small Business/Self Employed Division (SB/SE) Mary Beth Murphy. Sponsored by Bentley’s Law Taxation and Financial Planning Department and the Internal Revenue Service, the program is considered to be the leading tax conference in New England.
Identity theft expert Steve Weisman, senior lecturer at Bentley, will serve as the luncheon speaker. Weisman has been featured as an expert throughout the national media and will discuss the increasing problem of income tax identity theft.

The IRS Town Meeting runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants who complete the seminar receive 8.0 CPE credit hours including two hours of ethics.The deadline to register is October 16, 2014.
