Steve Pagliuca, managing director of Bain Capital & co-owner of the Boston Celtics, will be the keynote speaker at the 16th annual Raytheon Lecture in Business Ethics at Bentley University on April 7, 2011, at 3:30 p.m. in Wilder Pavilion, Adamian Academic Center. Pagliuca will discuss how teams are engines of business that run best on the energy of ethics.

"Business may be tough and competitive, but business success is a team sport; businesses thrive on partnerships fostered in a climate of fair play. The best companies see their competitors as potential partners," says Pagliuca. "Companies will see the greatest gains when they are able to create a culture that promotes healthy team spirit."

Steve Pagliuca is a managing director at Bain Capital, a leading global private investment firm based in Boston. He is also co-owner and managing partner of the World Championship Boston Celtics Basketball franchise. Pagliuca joined Bain Capital in 1989 and, along with his partners,  built it into an international investment powerhouse with over $65 billion in assets under management. An active member of many charitable and philanthropic organizations, Pagliuca serves as the president of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, the chairman of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, and a trustee of the Bain Capital Children's Charity. He is a frequent contributor on television, radio and print media of expert commentary on global economic issues.
