In the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings of America’s Best Colleges 2012, Bentley University is ranked #6 among “Best Regional Universities - North.” Bentley is also ranked among the Top 50 “Best Business Programs” in the country at #46. These two ranking categories are based on results from peer assessment surveys.
In the business specialties category, also based on results from peer assessment surveys, the Bentley Management Information Systems program ranked #18 nationally and #2 in New England.
Among the top Regional Universities-North, Bentley was also ranked:

The average proportion of freshmen who entered the school in the fall of 2006 through fall 2009 and returned the following fall
• # 4 Best Value
The formula is based on the relationship of the school’s academic quality to the net cost of attendance and the amount of financial aid the schools dispense to students, in the form of need-based grants and scholarships
• #3 Highest 6 year Graduation Rate
The average proportion of a graduating class who earned a degree in six years or less
• #17 Economic Diversity among the top 25 ranked schools
Using the percentage of undergraduates receiving federal Pell grants for low-income students during 2009-2010 school year
Each year, U.S. News surveys more than 1,600 colleges and universities and ranks them according to their own methodology. The rankings are based on several key measures of quality including the results of peer assessment surveys completed by academic leaders and administrators (25%), graduation and retention rates (25%), faculty resources (20%), student selectivity (15%), financial resources (10%) and alumni giving (5%).
