Bentley University is pleased to welcome Carolina Figueroa as its new vice president for Enrollment Management. Figueroa brings with her a wide range of expertise and knowledge, including nearly 20 years of proven success in higher education.
“During the search process, I was particularly impressed by Carolina’s commitment to expanding the admissions pipeline into new markets and increasing diversity among applicants and the student body,” says President Gloria Larson. “We are thrilled that she has accepted our offer to join Bentley.”
Figueroa joins Bentley from Brandeis University where she served as vice president for Enrollment Development. At Brandeis she was responsible for leading the university’s recruitment and enrollment programs including oversight of undergraduate admissions, student financial services and precollege programs. Figueroa also provided strategic leadership in the development and implementation of enrollment and financial aid models to meet the university’s financial targets and institutional priorities.
Prior to joining Brandeis in 2012, Figueroa led the technology and operations teams at George Mason University as associate dean for the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Development. She also served for four years as senior enterprise resource systems developer at George Washington University.
Carolina holds a masters degree in management of information systems from George Washington University, and a bachelor of science in biological sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
