Celebrating the Class of 2020 at Fenway Park

Dear Class of 2020, 

I hope that this note finds you well and that you have been staying healthy and safe. It’s hard to believe that it has been over a year since the pandemic forced us to change so much about our lives on campus and across the world.  

I wanted to share a special opportunity with you, the undergraduates and graduate students of the Class of 2020, to celebrate your accomplishments and recognize the many obstacles you have faced and overcome in the past year. Today, I am honored to invite you to a special ceremony for the Class of 2020 on the afternoon of Saturday, May 1, at Fenway Park.   

You will receive more details soon from the Commencement Office, including how to confirm your attendance and reserve your regalia. Details about acquiring up to two guest tickets for family and loved ones will be shared soon. 

As always, we will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community and follow all state guidelines for planning this event. All event details need to be approved by Fenway Park and the City of Boston, and we will be sure to keep you updated as new details become available. 

Class of 2020, this has been a challenging year. I hope you can join us to celebrate your achievement safely on May 1 at this iconic location.
