This summer, 90 high school students were chosen from across the globe to participate in the prestigious “Wall Street 101” day camp. Held on the Bentley University campus, the week-long program allows students to explore the stock market and discover the world of investing using Bentley’s state-of-the-art trading room.

Designed for students who are considering a business major in college, the program delivers an overview of the finance field to help students prepare for college studies. Over five days, students have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about portfolio construction, risk management and financial engineering
  • Tour well-known investment firms in downtown Boston
  • Interact with guest speakers who are traders, portfolio managers and other business professionals
  • Develop leadership and teamwork skills through interactive trading games and projects

Attendees also have the opportunity to attend a workshop on the college application process and hear directly from an admissions counselor.

The program is open to high school students who have completed their sophomore or junior year. Students are selected based on academic achievement and business interest.
