For the ninth consecutive year, the International Summer Institute at Bentley (ISIB) is happening from July 8 to July 28. This year's program brings together 30 advanced undergraduate and graduate business students from eight different countries — Austria, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Russia, and Tunisia — for a three-week intensive study of key prevailing business trends.
The program consists of 60 hours of classroom instructions including company visits and roundtable discussion with business executives in a seminar format. Classes address: globalization and the growing importance of emerging markets, the increasing role of social media in transforming the enterprise, the critical role of global marketing activities, and the growing dominance of service industries on the global stage triggered by the information technology revolution.
Learning does not stop when class ends. Organized cultural activities and excursions outside the classroom are designed to enhance participants’ understanding of American culture.
