At a time when India was still viewed as a developing nation, S.D. Shibulal co-founded Infosys to help spur a rapid national economic transformation. Today, Infosys has grown under Shibulal into a leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing, and earned a global reputation for its commitment to ethical corporate governance.
On Thursday Nov. 6, at 3:30 p.m., Shibulal will address the Bentley University community at the 22nd Raytheon Lecture in Business Ethics in the Wilder Pavilion, Adamian Academic Centre. The lecture is free and open to the public.
The program, “Ethical Corporate Governance as a Competitive Advantage,” is presented by the Center for Business Ethics at Bentley University through the support of Raytheon Co.
In his previous role as CEO and managing director, Shibulal was instrumental in the development of the Infosys Global Delivery Model, which established a new standard for the delivery of outsourced IT services. That program helped set the stage for the company’s evolution into a leading provider of multinational business consulting and IT services. Shibulal is also a trustee of the Infosys Science Foundation. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from Boston University and a master’s degree in physics from the University of Kerala, India.
