All three Bentley teams that competed in the American Collegiate Moot Court Association Eastern Regional Tournament on November 20 placed in the top 20 highest scoring teams and advanced to the second round on November 21. The Moot Court competition requires students to simulate legal argumentation before hypothetical appellate courts.

Coached by Franklyn P. Salimbene, senior lecturer in law, Bentley team members included senior Anton Sadovnikov and junior Monil Kothari; senior Kaspar Kaegi and junior Shaun Boedicker; and junior Puja Shah and senior Alex Northcutt. Toni Wolfman, executive-in-residence, Bentley Women's Leadership Institute, and Judith Malone, Bentley general counsel, assisted by judging practice rounds of oral argument.

Individually, three Bentley students were among the top 20 orators: Shaun Boedicker garnered the 12^th highest individual score of all 92 students in the competition; Puja Shah ranked 18^th and Kaspar Kaegi ranked 19^th. Close behind were Alex Northcutt at 21^st and Monil Kothari at 26^th.

Of the 24 teams competing in Round Two, two Bentley teams survived the first elimination to advance to the Round of 16.

Bentley was among 16 colleges and universities that participated in the competitive regional competition, with a total of 92 undergraduates composing 46 teams. Other schools included Bridgewater State College; College of the Holy Cross; College of New Jersey; Fitchburg State College; Harvard College; Merrimack College; Patrick Henry College; Ramapo College; St. John's University; SUNY Brockport; SUNY Cortland; Syracuse University; University at Albany, State University of New York; Wagner College; and Westfield State College.
