The Valente Center for Arts and Sciences is hosting Glenn Moots, professor of philosophy and political science and director of the Forum for Citizenship and Enterprise at Northwood University in Michigan. The free program, “Educated, Trained, Or Called? Moving from a Business Education to a Satisfying Profession,” will be held on Thursday, November 3, from 3:35 to 4:50 p.m. in LaCava 375AB.
Moots has recently presented on the subject of work and vocation at professional conferences and is working on a larger study of how the virtues of traditional professions can be integrated into all variations of employment.
