The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education named Bentley one of the top 100 colleges in the country in their 2018 College Rankings, highlighting Bentley’s effectiveness in preparing students for successful and rewarding careers.
Students gave Bentley a score of 9.3 out of 10 when asked if it helped them land internships to prepare for their career, according to the survey. The recognition was the latest honor for Bentley’s nationally recognized internship program, following The Princeton Review’s ranking of Bentley as the No. 1 school in the U.S. for internships.
At Bentley, 92 percent of students complete at least one internship and 69 percent complete more than one before graduation. Planning for a career begins the first semester students arrive on campus through the university’s HIRE Education career action plan, a 4-year approach to lead students to a fulfilling career.

How the Ranking Was Conducted
The Wall Street Journal / Times Higher Education College Rankings compare more than 1,000 U.S. schools. Data for the rankings come from a variety of sources including the U.S. government Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System; the U.S. Department of Education’s Federal Student Aid center and College Scorecard; the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis; and the Times Higher Education U.S. Student Survey and Academic Reputation Survey.
