Workshop Teaches Undergraduate and Graduate Women How to Build a Network

The Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) hosts “Shattering the Glass Ceiling: It Starts On Campus,” a workshop for undergraduate and graduate women on building your network on campus and beyond. The program will be held Monday, October 18, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. in the Executive Dining Room at LaCava Center. Registration is required.

The workshop will include:

  • Presentations by undergraduate and graduate student leaders; these  leaders and presidents of various student organizations will be available after the workshop as well.
  • A structured conversation on the value of a post-graduation network facilitated by senior Bentley faculty and staff members: How can you use each other as resources and best prepare yourselves for the various hurdles that women face at work?
  • Access to Bentley faculty and staff mentors and  to campus resources for women’s personal and professional development.
  • Opportunities to brainstorm effective programming for Bentley women on campus and abroad.


The event is sponsored by the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI), The WLI Student Focus Group, The Graduate Women’s Leadership Organization, The Women’s Center, and the Bentley Chapter of 85 Broads.
