Story ideas welcome
Along with serving the communication needs of other campus offices and departments, the Marketing Communication staff oversees production of Observer, a magazine highlighting faculty research and teaching, student activities, campus-based programs, philanthropy, Falcon athletics, and alumni news. The magazine is mailed four times a year to Bentley alumni, parents and friends.
We welcome story ideas, and encourage readers to contact us with suggestions for feature articles, campus news, faculty research and publications, student activities or other newsworthy topics related to Bentley people or programs.

Photography
The Marketing Communication Department has an extensive centralized library of current slides and images of the university for use in approved Bentley websites or publications. We also have access to many sources of stock photography, which can supply non-Bentley-specific images.
If you need new photo or must document a special campus event, we can arrange a photo shoot with a professional photographer. The university's photographers and image library are centralized. To request a photo shoot, please complete the online form on our department web site. We will hire a photographer who can best handle the assignment in the required time frame. If we are able to use the shots in one of our externally oriented marketing, recruitment or news publications, we will fund the cost of the photo shoot. For publication purposes, we ask the photographer to shoot electronic images rather than prints. If you would like the photographer to shoot prints, please include your cost-center number for billing purposes.
We can email you electronic images or give you a CD. Original slides or photos remain in the Marketing Communication Department.
