Confidential Resources

These conversations are kept strictly confidential and, except in rare, extreme circumstances (including imminent risk of harm to self or others), nothing will be shared without your permission. The following Bentley University offices are confidential resources:

 

Ombuds Office 

The Ombuds Office provides a safe, confidential, informal and impartial place for faculty, staff and students to discuss concerns and actual or potential conflicts and to address them in a positive and constructive way.

Bentley Counseling Center

The Counseling Center is a mental health resource for all students seeking support. Through on-campus clinicians and external partnerships, the Counseling Center offers a range of mental health services to all Bentley students as part of their tuition.

Student Health Center 

The health center has nurse practitioners on staff who can assist you with any medical concerns you may have, including testing to ensure your health and well-being.

  •  If calling when the Health Center is closed, clinical advice is available by choosing to speak with a nurse from our After-Hours Nurse Advice Line

    Emily Campia, Sexual Assault Resource Specialist 

    Emily is an additional resource who can speak with you in confidence. Emily specializes in relationship violence, sexual assault, and sexual harassment, and can provide advice and information about options for reporting and support.

Spiritual Life

Our campus is home to students from around the world, representing many faiths and worldviews. The Spiritual Life community is a welcome place for all students and their religious affiliation, belief or spiritual practice. We honor the perspective and values our diverse students add to the communityare available for counseling, private talks, and consultation.

BARCC provides free, confidential support and services to survivors of sexual violence ages 12 and up and their families and friends.

The Network/LaRed

Hotline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer and/or transgender (LGBQ/T) folks, as well as folks in SM/kink and polyamorous communities who are being abused or have been abused by a partner.

Casa Myrna

Casa Myrna is Boston’s largest provider of domestic violence awareness efforts and of shelter and supportive services to survivors. Their comprehensive range of services, available in both Spanish and English, provide survivors with tools to recover from the trauma of abuse and begin to build sustainable self-sufficiency. They also run the MA statewide toll-free domestic violence hotline.

RAINN: National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline

Calling the National Sexual Assault Hotline gives you access to a range of free services including: confidential support from a trained staff member, support finding a local health facility that is trained to care for survivors of sexual assault and offers services like sexual assault forensic exams, someone to help you talk through what happened, local resources that can assist with your next steps toward healing and recovery, referrals for long term support in your area, information about the laws in your community, and basic information about medical concerns.
