Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Courses and Schedules

A five-day summer experience designed for girls, women and those who identify as women, high school students with a passion for innovation, design, and entrepreneurship. Set in the vibrant innovation ecosystem of Boston, participants will engage in hands-on projects to solve real problems, visit a startup accelerator and innovation lab, and interact with successful women entrepreneurs and business leaders to gain a holistic view of what it takes to bring innovative ideas to life. Our program equips students with best practices and use of latest technologies, empowering them to explore customer discovery methods, experience design, and prototyping to get a first look at their ideas. Through these immersive activities, they’ll assess the viability of their projects and build skills that prepare them to lead in today’s dynamic landscape of innovation. 

The Accounting Adventures Program offers high school students a hands-on introduction to accounting, business planning, and financial budgeting in a 3-day on campus program. Dive into the essentials of accounting and business planning through interactive sessions and real-world applications. Get inspired by our successful “Dreams to Dollars” event, where you’ll brainstorm business ideas, develop comprehensive plans, and create financial budgets. Learn from Bentley faculty and industry leaders from MassCPAs and EY, who will mentor you every step of the way. Finally, pitch your business ideas to a panel of experts in a thrilling “Shark Tank”-style presentation. Program highlights include brainstorming, business planning, budgeting, mentorship and real-world experience.
