Pathways for Women in Business

The Pathways for Women in Business is a women-focused program designed to help high-school students learn about the interesting and rewarding career paths open to them in the world of business. Through interactive sessions, field trips and mentoring workshops led by the top-ranked Pulsifer Career Development Center, the Gloria Cordes Larson Center for Women and Business, and Bentley faculty, students will explore industries and career opportunities that will be available to them as they begin to think about their future.

Strong leadership skills are crucial for success in any field. Developing leadership abilities at an early stage empowers you to tackle challenges, inspire others, and excel in your future studies and career, regardless of your chosen major. Join us to build a foundation of leadership that will support and enhance your academic and professional journey. This women-focused program helps students explore potential careers in business and college majors by taking skills and values assessments and working with Bentley faculty to understand the role of business.

Laura Young
Program Director and Associate Professor of Economics

Laura Jackson Young graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December 2014 with a PhD in Economics. She is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Bentley University. Her research and teaching interests focus on applied macroeconomics and monetary policy.
