Business of Health Innovation Application Information
The Business of Health Innovation Pre-College Program for rising high school juniors and seniors allows students who are interested in learning about transformative technologies that improve the health industry.
Tuition, Deadlines and Requirements
Applicants are expected to meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:
- Applicants should be preparing to enter their Junior or Senior year of high school in the 2024-2025 school year and have completed at least two years of college preparatory coursework at the high school level before entering the program.
- Applicants who have not completed at least two years of high school in the U.S. must demonstrate English language proficiency.
- Students must be 16 years old by September 1 of the program year.
Create an account to access the online application. You will be asked about your high school curriculum (overall GPA and grades in relevant courses) and activities, and you will respond to an essay question. Please enter the name and email address of your recommender (optional) and upload a copy of your unofficial transcript (required) and SAT or ACT scores (optional). If you are requesting financial aid, you will need to work with the parent or guardian who claims you as a dependent to provide tax documents. You may save your work and return to the application later. The $75 application fee will be collected when you submit your application. No further changes can be made once you submit.
Admitted students will be asked to provide additional information, including the Health Insurance and Bentley University Liability forms that must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Tuition includes fees and materials in all formats; Commuter tuition also includes lunch and transportation for any weekday activities during the day; Residential tuition also includes housing and transportation between Bentley’s campus and Boston Logan Airport. Students attending multiple sessions receive 5% off each additional course. Fees (to be revised) for each course are listed below.

A limited number of scholarships are available to talented students whose families have demonstrated need based on most recent U.S. income tax filings or submission of materials that outline the demonstration of financial need. Those who wish to be considered may indicate so in their application and upload the requested tax statements.
Bentley University reserves the right to cancel any session and will issue a full tuition refund. Below is the tuition refund schedule for student-initiated cancelations for 2024.

No tuition will be refunded if a request is made after May 15, 2024. Students dismissed from any session for disciplinary reasons will not be issued any tuition refund.
Admitted students will receive further details about policies and procedures governing participation in the pre-college program, which must be signed by the student, and the parent/legal guardian of students below the age of 18. A summary of these policies is included here for reference in the application process.
Student Conduct
These programs have a set of rules governing student conduct at all times to make this program safe, fun, and educational for all participants. There will be teaching assistants assigned to help you navigate through the materials and projects. Resident advisers will supervise students in housing. You will need to sign a personal conduct policy at registration. Any violation of the code of conduct will go through due process and will be grounds for dismissal from the Program with no refunds.
Licensed Software
Students will be given official access to Brightspace and online databases licensed by Bentley University for educational purposes only; students are not to use their access for any purposes outside the scope of the program.
Redistributing Course Content
Lectures and instructional materials shared with you during your session are intellectual properties of Bentley University. Unauthorized reproduction and distribution are strictly prohibited.
