Brand

Canva

Canva is an online design and publishing tool that empowers you to create presentations, posters, social media graphics and more. Bentley's Enterprise Canva platform gives you access to Bentley University branded templates and toolkits so you can easily create on-brand designs.

Account Access

To request access to the Bentley Enterprise account, You can submit a request by filling out this form. Bentley is currently in a pilot program but anticipates the cost per license will be between $100-$130/user in 2025-2026. Each subscription is for individual access only. You cannot use shared email addresses.

Seats are for university use only and not a replacement for a personal Canva account. If you have an existing Canva account, you can toggle between accounts, and/or transfer previous designs into your university account. For a step-by-step guide, see here. Alternatively, you can create a link to a template, then go into your other account and paste the link to copy that template to the destination account.

Please note: currently enrolled Bentley students have access to Canva included with our paid account; You do not need to request a seat for a student worker.

Using Bentley Templates and Brand Kit

The Bentley brand templates can be found in their respective folders under "Projects" or in the "Brand Hub” labeled “Brand Templates.”

If you would like to sort through the templates, click on the "Folder" drop-down button above the grid of templates.

Customizing Colors, Fonts, and Logos

Approved Bentley brand colors, fonts, and logos are available in the "Brand Hub">"Brand Kit" tab on the left panel of the Canva homepage. The brand kit elements are available in the editor view as well.

The primary Bentley typefaces are Helvetica Neue and Caecilia, which are both available to you in Canva.

Collaborating in Canva with Staff/Faculty

You will be added to a group when you are added to the Canva Team. You will have the ability to share files, assets, and folders within your group so you don’t need to manually share everything every time. Please note: every design you create is private until shared. For best practices, share your designs with your group while working on the design so your colleagues can access the files in real time and give feedback - similar to how SharePoint operates.

Collaborating in Canva with Students

Staff who wish to share designs with students or vice versa should use the Collaboration Link. This works similar to SharePoint documents where multiple people can access a design at once. Although Bentley has accounts available for both faculty/staff and students, they are in two different environments, so you cannot add faculty/staff to your group or team.
