Capstone Pathway Experience

For Honors students: A new capstone pathway about Entrepreneurship

Objective

With the scale we have at Bentley University, creating completely new programs with new courses is often challenging because it requires managing (simultaneously) hiring new faculty, proposing new courses, obtaining approvals through the governance process, generating demand from students. Rolling out new programs can then simply lead to moving students from one program to another. The Capstone Pathway, instead, fulfills a specific need for honors students. It adds to the existing capstone pathways within the Honors Program, and provides the Honors students a new, challenging experience.

Purpose

The Capstone Pathway experience represents a choice for the best and brightest at Bentley, the Honors Students community. Students selected into the Bentley Honors Program choose a pathway that will lead them to complete the Honors Capstone Experience, and allow them to explore new career paths. In Fall 2025, the E-Hub will offer an experimental version that will be offered to the Honors students alongside existing options, which include: (a) corporate immersion, (b) creative project, (c) research project and others.
