Entrepreneurship Research Working Group

Want to Join the Working Group?

Objective

The Bentley E-Hub is helping to crystallize entrepreneurship as a key strategic focus for the university. Several members of the Bentley University community are independently engaged in research projects and initiatives focusing broadly on the concept of entrepreneurship. However, there are still few opportunities for faculty working across Business and the Arts & Sciences to share their insights and perspectives to studying entrepreneurship and develop new and exciting research avenues.

Purpose

The purpose of this working group is to create such a space for cross-departmental research discussions on the topic of entrepreneurship. Our effort is not tied to one or more specific scholarly outputs. Instead, this initiative aims to provide an intellectually engaging space for faculty and researchers to interact, discuss, and develop new insights on the topic of entrepreneurship. We hope that such interactions will facilitate future collaborative opportunities.

Meetings

We envision a round table meeting hosted once a month during activity period. Lunch will be provided. The only expectation is that participants come to our sessions willing and ready to share their research perspective about the topic of entrepreneurship, how they are pursuing their work in this space, and share findings from their ongoing work. The E-hub will bring contributions from alumni, students, and external partners to share emerging research areas relate to entrepreneurship that they are eager to explore. Meetings are limited to 12 participants to ensure meaningful interactions and discussion.
