Living Learning Community for Future Entrepreneurs

Dedicated dorm community for undergraduate students with an interest in the entrepreneurial career path

Objective

At Bentley, the term Defined Community describes a group of students with similar interests and passions to live and learn around a central theme. A defined community provides an enhanced environment of learning within the residence halls. The Future Entrepreneurs Community is designed for undergraduate students who aspire to pursue entrepreneurship as a career path, whether in Fintech or Fashion, High-tech or Health, Media or Marketing, or any innovative path of their own. This Defined Community aims to establish entrepreneurship as a potential career choice early on for a select group of incoming students.

Purpose

The E-hub will be committed to providing participants in the Future Entrepreneurs Defined Community an inside track to events, and exclusive access to resources that each student (on their own or with a team) can leverage to pursue their entrepreneurial journey. Students in the Future Entrepreneurs Defined Community will have direct access to a supportive ecosystem that include exclusive coaching sessions (beyond those open to the Bentley community), introductions to mentors (beyond those open to the Bentley community), seed funding for teams developing start-up ideas (beyond the open competitions for the Bentley community), and additional opportunities and resources. This community will help kickstart your journey in entrepreneurship and support your development.

Location

Miller Hall

The Future Entrepreneurs Community is located in one of the First-Year Resident Halls. Miller Hall is a co-ed resident hall which also houses the FirstGen Community, the Herstory: Women Leaders of Today Community and the Arts Community. The building that houses the Miller Hall is conveniently located between the Upper Campus - where academic offices and classes are held - and Lower Campus - near the Student Center and Cafeteria.
