Bentley Library at Home: Get Books, Movies, Newspapers & More Online (Even When We're Closed)

The library's doors will be closed during winter break, but our online resources are always open! Current Bentley students, faculty, and staff can access ebook and audiobook collections, streaming films, online newspapers, and most research databases via the library website using a Bentley email address and password.

EBOOKS & AUDIOBOOKS

Looking forward to catching up with your leisure reading but forgot to check books out before you left campus? No problem! You can download new releases, bestsellers, and classic favorites from OverDrive/Libby anywhere, anytime, on any device.

We also have several databases that provide nonfiction and scholarly books and audiobooks. View our full list of ebook and audiobook collections on our Databases page, or use Library Search to search for ebooks and digital audiobooks by title, author, or topic (tip: filter your Library Search results to "available online").

STREAMING FILMS

The library provides streaming access to contemporary and classic feature films, award-winning documentaries, instructional videos, news broadcasts, and presentations through the following databases: Films on Demand, Kanopy, Swank Digital Campus, Academic Video Online. Tip: if you're looking for popular movies and feature films, check Kanopy and Swank first!

FREE ONLINE NEWS FROM LEADING NEWS SITES

Personal online subscriptions to Bloomberg.com, The Economist, Financial Times, New York Times, and Wall Street Journal will help you stay up-to-date with U.S. and World news. If you haven’t already, activate your subscriptions and download the mobile apps. Subscription registration and renewal instructions for all our news subscriptions are available on the Current News guide

DATABASES - FIND ARTICLES, STATISTICS, REPORTS & MORE

Whether you want to conduct research for a class or personal learning, most of the library's databases are available from off-campus. View the complete list on the library's Databases A-Z page. Tip: use the "Browse Topics" drop-down at the top of the page to filter the list. If you're not sure where to start, choose "General Topics" to see a list of recommended databases for all subjects.
