Find Bestsellers & New Releases in the Popular Reading Collection

Now that summer is here, it is time to highlight the Popular Reading Collection.

Located on the main floor near the café, the Popular Reading Collection contains both bestselling fiction and nonfiction including: mysteries, thrillers, romances, sci-fi, biographies and popular business books.

Most of these titles, approximately 600 books, are part of a rental service which allows us to provide the latest bestsellers as soon as they are released. When interest wanes, we quickly update our offerings with new content. In addition, we highlight newly acquired permanent titles that we think will have a broad appeal to the Bentley community before these titles are absorbed into our stacks collection.

Visit the Popular Reading collection in person on the library's main floor or virtually browse from the library's website. You may also find this link on the library website under News => New Materials => Popular Reading.

Top Tips:

• If virtually browsing, use the New Materials filter to limit your search to titles added in the last week, last month and/or last three months.
• Log into My Account to place a hold on any book. If a title says Not Available, it may be in transit between processing and shelving, so by placing a hold you could be alerted to its availability in the next day or so and be the first to crack its spine.
• Popular Reading books have a 28 day loan period with the option to renew for an additional 28 days. You can renew online using My Account up to three days before the book is due.
• If you need to return your book when the building is closed, there is a 24 hour book drop to the left of the main door.
• Don't forget that we take requests! Just use our Suggest a Purchase form.
