Introducing a new HUSH Pod to Bentley Library!
April 9, 2025
We are excited to announce the arrival of a HUSH Pod to Bentley Library. This pod will be available for students and staff to use, explore, and test out. It is a single occupancy soundproof space that will allow you to take a hybrid class, conduct a zoom interview or appointment, or even just step away from the din of the building.
Located in the back reading room of the main floor of the library, we invite people to come take a look and provide us with feedback. There is a QR code on the door which will take you to quick survey and enable you to let us know what you think:
- Is this the type of seating we should have in the library and around campus?
- What would you use it for?
- Should you be able to reserve it in EMS?
This area of the library is designated for silent study so if your sole intent is to come check out the HUSH, please come in the mornings before the library gets busy or wait until after exams; the HUSH will be available through May and with lower traffic in the building you’ll be able to really test out that soundproofing! For students testing the HUSH, please keep in mind that the purpose is to get as much feedback as possible; please be respectful and limit your use to two hours at a time.
We are excited to hear what you think!
