Let's Talk: Counseling Center Holding Drop-in Conversations at the Library.
February 5, 2024
We are pleased to announce that the Bentley Counseling Center is bringing Let's Talk to the Bentley Library this semester. Let's Talk provides Bentley students with informal drop-in conversations with Bentley Therapists as a comfortable non-treatment alternative to formal mental health care.
Starting Tuesday, February 6, therapists will be available in Library Room 201 (the Manfredi study room on the top floor) on the following Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00 p.m. No appointments are necessary!
February 6 & 20
March 5 & 26
April 9 & 23
Let's Talk will also be held in the Multicultural Center Lounge on alternating Tuesdays from 1:00-2:00pm, including February 13 and 27; March 19; and April 2, 16, and 30. Let's Talk will not be held during Spring Break.
Let's Talk is...
- Convenient: Held in common spaces, at pre-published times. No appointment is necessary!
- Confidential: Fully private, excluding situations of immediate risk of harm to self or others.
- Accessible: Safe and easy, your name and info is not required. No questionnaires or fees!
- Equitable: Minimizes barriers which disproportionately effect underserved populations.
- Informal: Let's Talk is not and does not substitute for mental health treatment.
- Helpful: Practical feedback from licensed professionals.
- Not for emergencies: For crisis support, contact the Counseling Center (x2274) or Campus Police (x3131)
