Spring '24 Library Hours, Tips & Reminders

Welcome to spring semester all new and returning students! We look forward to seeing you in the library soon. Here are a few important tips and reminders for spring. Please don't hesitate to stop by, call, chat, or email us if you need help or have questions. 

Library Hours

During the spring semester the normal library hours are:

Sunday
10:00 a.m.–12:00 a.m.

Monday–Thursday
7:30 a.m.–12:00 a.m.

Friday
7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Saturday
10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Hours will change during Spring Break and Patriots' Day holiday weekend. Check the hours calendar to view the library, research help, Einsteins, and IT Help Desk hours for the entire semester. 

During the winter months the library's hours may be impacted by inclement weather. When the University is closed for weather, so is the library. Keep an eye out for the University's official announcements. If the library needs to make an emergency closing outside of "regular" university hours (late at night or on the weekend), we will make announcements on our social media channels and via email. Follow @BentleyLibrary on Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook to stay up to date.   

Study Room Reservations

• The Bentley Library provides 21 group study rooms to be used for collaborative coursework and studying.
• Students can make one room reservation per day for up to two hours, up to two weeks in advance.
• Reservations can be made using the University’s EMS room reservation website, the Direct Spaces app (available for both iOS and Android), or on-the-fly using the touch panels outside each room.  
• Don’t forget to “check in” to your reservation within 15 minutes of the start time. If you do not check in, your reservation will be canceled so that another group may use the room. Email reminders will be sent to the person who made the reservation, and you can check in either on the app or the room screen.  

Falcon Printing

• The library provides computers and printers (color and B&W) for you to use if you need one.  
• To print from anywhere on campus you need to be connected to the Falcon Printing system. 
• To install the Bentley print drivers on your laptop, visit the Falcon Printing website. You will also find information about printer locations and printing funds/costs on that site. You can also contact the IT Help Desk for assistance with connecting to the printers. 
• Don't forget that your Bentley ID is required to print. 

Research Help  

• Research librarians are available at the Reference Desk Sunday–Friday to help you with finding and citing sources for your papers and assignments. Visit us in person, call 781.891.2300, text 781.728.0511, email refdesk@bentley.edu, or use our live chat. You can also book an appointment for a research consultation. 
• Librarians have created library research guides for popular topics and specific classes such as AC115 and GB320.  We also have citation guides to help you construct in-text citations and references in all the major styles.
