Student Handbook

Leave of Absence/Withdraw Procedures
If you wish to take time away from campus, you can apply for a leave of absence. A leave of absence must be for at least a semester, and may be granted for up to two years.
Bias Incident Response Team
The Bias Incident Response Team (BIRT) ensures students affected by Bias or a Bias related incident have access to appropriate resources and assists the University in its response in situations that may impact the overall campus climate around diversity and inclusion.
FERPA
Guidelines regarding privacy of students’ educational records are also governed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law established in 1974.
