Your studies will dive deep into the science of environmental systems, while keeping a keen perspective on related business issues. You’ll learn how economics, policy, development and other factors can be shaped to reduce environmental risks. As the green economy grows, scientists who can articulate the business impacts and benefits of sustainability will be increasingly in-demand.
As a Sustainability Science major, you will graduate with a broad knowledge of business by completing courses that are part of the Business Administration minor. You will also have the option of complementing your Sustainability Science major with a Business Administration major, or any other approved Bentley major, by using some of your free electives to take additional courses.

Oceanography (NAS 340)
This course examines chemical and physical aspects of oceans and seawater, including the geologic history of ocean basins, ocean currents, waves, tides, the composition of seawater, types and movement of marine sediments, natural resources that oceans provide, and human impacts, such as pollution in the coastal and deep marine environment.
