Forging a Path to Wall Street

Ryan Gormley dreamed of a job on Wall Street. The kind of career development culture at Bentley — typically beginning the first semester of a student’s first year — is what pushed him to do an internship every summer at top companies: Morgan Stanley, Skybridge Capital, Sphaeris Capital Management and Wells Fargo. “The internships were definitely important stepping stones to landing my dream job at Wells Fargo. I learned new hard and soft skills. I’ve noticed that Bentley students have an amazing drive to land top internships. For some reason, it’s something that everyone pursues. I haven’t necessarily seen that with my friends from other schools.”

A Perfect Fit

Chase Davies, a former Bentley track and field star, found her dream job at New Balance, blending her passion for sports and sales as an associate team sports sales representative. Excelling in roles from developing teamwear portfolios to leading merchandising partnerships, she leveraged her networking skills and perseverance to succeed. Davies' lessons learned in the classroom has fueled her success in sales, proving that her track record of determination translates seamlessly to her professional career.

A Well-Rounded Education Pays Off

Neyheymee Mondiere, a Business Economics major, juggled multiple leadership roles on campus, including as senior adviser of Black United Body (BUB), modeling director for the BUB fashion show, and intramural volleyball captain, all while completing internships at EY and Mineral Tree and pursuing a successful modeling career. Her Bentley journey reflects her diverse interests and proactive approach to exploring opportunities, from discovering her passion for economics through internships to thriving as a freelance model and securing a full-time offer at EY in business consulting finance.

Making the Most of a Second Chance

Like most Bentley first-year students, Vincent Bacho enrolled in Career Development Introduction 101 (CDI 101), a seminar designed to equip new Falcons with the comprehensive career toolkit they need. He worked with his career adviser to search for internships and was accepted into Cigna’s systems analyst program. When offered a second internship at Cigna, he asked for a position in programming. He’s now focusing on a career as a software developer, armed practical knowledge and experience.
