Community Partner Overnight

We are excited to host our community-based organization partners and students for a pre-Academic Exploration Day overnight on Saturday, November 2nd. We look forward to having you join us on the Bentley campus for dinner and conversation before students head to the dorms with their Bentley student hosts and CBO staff are transported to their hotel and dinner. Everyone will reconnect on Sunday, November 3rd for our annual Academic Exploration Day for the full Bentley experience!

 

Agenda

For CBO partners/participants arriving on their own, please arrive to the Back Bay Rooms in the Student Center by 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

Saturday, November 2 - For Students

  • 2:00 p.m. Students and chaperones begin to arrive on campus. Light food, beverages, and activities will be provided
  • 3:45 p.m. Official welcome
  • 4:30 p.m. Students and chaperones depart the Student Center for evening activities
  • 5:45 p.m. Students and Hosts eat dinner in the on-campus dining hall
  • 7:00 p.m. Evening Activity on campus 

Saturday, November 2 – For Chaperones

  • 2:00 p.m. Students and chaperones begin to arrive on campus! Light food, beverages, and activities will be provided. 
  • 3:45 p.m. Official welcome  
  • 4:30 p.m. Students and chaperones depart the Student Center for evening activities 
  • 5:00 p.m. Chaperones check-in to the Westin hotel  
  • 5:45 p.m. Gather in Lobby of Westin to head to dinner 
  • 6:00 p.m. Dinner at the Painted Burro in Waltham  
  • 8:00 p.m. Depart Painted Burro to head back to the Westin for the rest of the evening

Sunday, November 3 – Academic Exploration Day

  • 9:00 a.m. Arrival to LaCava Cafe for Breakfast
  • 9:30 a.m. Campus Tour
  • 10:30 a.m. Provost Welcome
  • 11:00 a.m. Mock Classes
  • 11:00 a.m. Financial Aid Presentation for Parents
  • 11:30 a.m. Majors & Programs Fair
  • 11:30 a.m. Lunch Opens
  • 1:00 p.m. Academic Overview Presentation 
  • 2:00 p.m. Departure From Campus
