We are excited to welcome you to campus! Here are some helpful resources for international students.
Transportation
Arriving in Boston
- Most international flights into Boston land at Terminal E of Boston Logan International Airport. The airport is located to the east of Boston and there are multiple modes of transportation from the airport to Boston and Bentley University.
- Upon arrival at the airport, prepare your I-20 form, passport, and visa for approval at immigration, and make sure to review customs arrangements and declare anything that needs to be declared.
Getting to Bentley
From Logan Airport, you can get to Bentley a few ways:
- Uber/Lyft: Create an account; Follow the signs to rideshare pickup (order a ride once you're at pick up spot). When you arrive at Bentley, there are pre-arranged drop-off spots for Uber including North Campus, Student Center, Slade Hall, Falcone North, and Library. As a first-year student, you'll likely be dropped off at Slade or Nathan R. Miller Hall.
- Public Transportation: Take the airport shuttle to South Station, the MBTA Red Line to Harvard Square, and then the Bentley Shuttle from Harvard Square to Bentley.
Getting around Bentley
- Bentley Shuttle allows you to explore the local area and campus. With two routes that cover campus, Waverly Square (Belmont) and Harvard Square (Cambridge), you also have easy access to MBTA buses, subway, and commuter rail lines. The TransLoc Rider mobile app provides live tracking, bus capacity, and arrival times, as well as important schedule updates.
- The MBTA subway and buses can also take you all around Boston. If you will use the MBTA often, we recommend buying a CharlieCard online or in the subway terminals. The commuter rail can take you outside of the metropolitan Boston area.
