Bentley IGSO Gathers Virtually in Celebration of Diwali

Diwali, a festival of lights, is celebrated by billions of people across the globe to celebrate new beginnings, the triumph of good over evil, and light over darkness.

Typically this celebration features festivities in large family gatherings. Since international students are unable to have an equivalent experience in the current environment, Bentley University's Indian Graduate Students Organization held a virtual Diwali celebration on November 14th to unite the students and celebrate it as community.

IGSO organized a Bollywood trivia, where the participants were posed fun questions related to the movie industry in India. A significant number of graduate students participated with great spirit and the event was truly lit up with smiles and good cheer.

One of the most exciting parts of the event was when the students attended the event dressed in Indian traditional clothes, truly bringing in the Indian holiday spirit.
