Graduate School Applicants

New incoming graduate students can apply for both an MBA and Master of Science (MS) program. Dual degree candidates will be reviewed under admission criteria for both programs.

Qualified students can upgrade to a dual degree by adding a program of study through Academic Services. Discuss your eligibility and how you can retain merit scholarships awarded with an advisor.

Prior Bentley graduate degree courses can be shared for up to five years from the date they were taken. Reach out to our admission team to see if you qualify.

Pair a Master's Degree with an MBA

Under the dual degree option, four courses in total can be shared between an MBA and a specialized master’s. Shared courses in this structure must be completed within five years of degree start.

Qualified MBA students and alumni would require as few as six additional MS courses to complete their dual degree. A minimum of eight additional MBA courses are required for those enrolled in or graduated with an MS degree.

For current students and alumni, our advising and admission teams will evaluate completed courses and determine the specific number of courses required to complete the dual degree.

Prospective students taking advantage of the dual degree option can anticipate completing a minimum of eighteen courses to obtain two Bentley University graduate-level degrees.

STEM OPT Extension for International Students

Certain F-1 international students are eligible to apply to USCIS for a 24-month extension of their standard, 12-month Post-Completion OPT work authorization. Eligible STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) programs correspond to specific ‘CIP codes’ issued by the U.S. government.

Bentley graduate programs with a STEM designation are the STEM MBA, Masters in Finance (analytics track), Masters in Business Analytics, Masters in Accounting and Masters in Human Factors in Information Design.
